ELY, NEVADA May, 2004 Join us on our 4-day adventure to Ely and the surrounding area to further research our family history in the area. It would have been in this hospital that Grandmother Sarah Hutchings passed away in 1934 Downtown Ely
Day Two: Cave Valley (Mostly Sunny, Cool) Chad and newfound cousin, Jerry O'Donnell, at Jerry's home in Ely Bullwhack Summit (elev. 7250 feet), looking south into Cave Valley Silver Canyon, location of Grandpa O'Donnell's last freight run. Uncle Loren owned this property at one time Historic remains of Palmer Station (near Palmer Junction) in Cave Valley. Uncle Loren ran his ranch from this location.
