Last Freight Run

It is to this location, Silver Canyon, where my 2nd great grandfather, Charles O'Donnell, made his last freight run before catching pneumonia in 1920.

A lone tree at Shingle Pass, elevation 6950 feet. The pass lies between Cave and White River Valleys.

White Pine County's Public Library at Ely.

County Building

White Pine County Buildling at Ely. My great grandparents requested their marriage license in this very structure in 1915.

Mallard

A duck swimming in the pond in front of the historic hospital building.

Old Hospital

The old White Pine County Hospital, now a county building. It is in this structure that our 3rd great grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth Edwards Hutchings, passed away 9 Apr 1934.
