Nauvoo & Carthage

Our most recent visit to Nauvoo & Carthage occurred in October 2005. The timing of the visit was to experience the fall colors in the area, although due to an excessively long summer most leaves were just starting to change. We experienced an unsuspecting weather shift at the end of our first day in Nauvoo, altering the high temperature on Wednesday from 90 degrees to a high temperature of a mere 48 degrees on Thursday. Most of our photos will show this climate change by our use of thick winter coats.
